Packard Automotive Plant was an abandoned factory in Detroit. The site was sold to a Spanish developer and demolition started in 2014. This former factory had been sold and planned for development but it had never been accomplished before, mainly because the site was so huge that it would take lots of money just for demolition. (When I visited, the some of buildings were partly demolished.)
デトロイトにある旧パッカード自動車工場です。2014年に解体作業が始まったそうです。過去何度も売却されたり、解体予定が立てられたりしながら、実現していなかったようで、おそらく敷地や建物の規模が大きく、解体だけでも多くのお金がかかるからでしょう。私が2012年に訪問した際も、一部解体されている箇所が有りました。
