Castle of Mesen, Lede, Belgium 2010.12.28

Castle of Mesen is located in Lede, a small town north-west of Brussels.
Same as when I went there, this place is still being demolished, I guess.
However, as I went near New Year's day, there was no workers around but only construction equipments around.
So luckily enough, I could explore as much as I wanted.

And as you can see, most parts do not have floors or only rotten ones.
Basement was creepy and interesting, but there was a part which was under construction or something.

Before I visited there, I wasn't sure if the place was still standing.
So I remember contacting someone from a group trying to save the castle or something.
Maybe it was on facebook, but do not remember...
But sure as hell I hope they can save them!
