City Methodist Church in Gary, Indiana (1926-1975).

Before visiting Gary, I found some websites saying it was a ghost town, but it turned out to be not true! It had a dismal, almost creepy atmosphere, with lots of abandoned building within just a 10-minute walk from the train station. But there were people and cars moving around the city.

訪問前ゲイリーに調べたらゴーストタウンと言っているページをいくつか見つけましが、
そんなことはなく、少し寂れた町といった感じでした。駅から徒歩10分以内にたくさん廃墟があるので、少し気味悪い感じもありましたが、人も車もたくさん見かけました。

Getting back to the church... It was located just in front of a school, so there were some cars parked there. But I remember it wasn't difficult getting in. I checked Google Street View and it HAS fences but they aren't doing anything to be honest.The church had an adjoining 3-story building, a theater and a gymnasium.

教会に話を戻して、教会は確か学校のすぐ目の前にあったため、廃墟の目の前に路上駐車の車がたくさんありました。たしか入るのすごい楽だったような気がしたので、ストリートビュー見てみたら、フェンスも一応あるのですが、あまり意味なさそう…。教会には併設の3階建ての建物と劇場、体育館までありました。
